NINA HENDRICKS
I'm Mrs. Nina! I'm a retired Middle School library media specialist. I've been a member at First Missionary for 15 years, and I'm in my 12th year serving as the Nursery Supervisor. It has been such a blessing to see our Nursery grow as our church has grown. In the nursery, we try to love on our families as well as our babies. Our goal is to lay the foundation for future learning about God's love. And I try to praise Jesus every day because I am FREE INDEED! John 8:36
GRANT MATHIS
Family life is one of the great joys of my life. I have been married to my high school sweetheart Emily for sixteen years this December. I am a father of three boys (Myles age 9, Merritt age 7, and Macon age 5). I enjoy coaching my boys in their various sports and activities.
I came to Christ in seventh grade at the age of twelve. In my early years, I served in various ministry roles in youth and discipleship. In my thirties and since coming to First Missionary, the Lord has really done a work in me. While further untangling roots of law and tradition, the Lord through various people pouring into me has taught me so much about identity in Christ, complete forgiveness, grace, the body of Christ, spiritual battles, and so much more. It is refreshing to walk along believers who love the Lord and are willing to pour into the people around them.
The greatest vision for any ministry that I am a part of is that the Spirit leads and we follow. Prayer ministry, Admin ministry, and College ministry all must be led by Spirit. It has been so refreshing to be a part of each of these ministries and to see the Lord work in the lives of His people. It is truly an honor to serve in each of these ministries.

JAY & TRISTA LARKIN
Jay and Trista are Marshall County natives and have 3 children. They have attended FMBC for over 20 years and have always had a heart and passion to serve and share the gospel. They both have a deep love for Jesus and because they have experienced how knowing Him has been transformational in their own lives they have a passion to share that with others.
Serving in the community, as well as partnering with missionaries in Arizona, Haiti, Guatemala, and Eastern Kentucky has only fueled that passion over the years.
”but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8
Their prayer is for God to continue to use them lead the body to love and spread the gospel to those in our own Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the remotest parts of the earth.

Michael has been driving the church bus since 2019 and has been the transportation ministry team leader for three years. He has had a passion for a bus ministry for years, probably because he was able to ride a bus to church as a kid many years ago!
SARAH WINSETT
Sarah loved the idea of having an actual cafe when we moved into our new church building! At the time, she was not a coffee drinker so she didn’t even know how to make it, but she had so much fun learning. She enjoys being able to serve our church in the Hope Cafe and see everyone’s smiles as they come up to the cafe each Sunday morning!
Sarah is thankful for everything we are able to support with your Hope Cafe donations— for families, schools, and churches all around the world— from clean water to sharing the gospel with non-believers. She also prays that this ministry continues to grow and hopes more people will get involved and help serve!
